Hana's Suitcase
CableTEC, HEC-TV and Interactive Field Trips are teaming together to bring a learning opportunity to both schools and the general public. Metro Theater Company of St. Louis is producing the U. S. premiere of Hana’s Suitcase, a powerful story that revolves around the Holocaust and one teacher’s efforts to bring her students to understanding its impact at the most basic level, a little girl’s life. Our three organizations are working with Metro Theater Company to extend this powerful learning opportunity beyond attendance of the play itself. We have developed three programs that will be shown during the day for schools and again in the evening for the general viewing audience. These shows will bring together students, local experts, Metro Theater personnel and other guests to explore several topics relevant to the subject. This curriculum supports the programs and Holocaust studies.
These lessons are appropriate to be used as Family Curriculum.
