The St. Louis Chess Club and Scholastic Center in the Central West End hosted this edition of Behind the Minds. See how chess has joined the everyday lineup of classes at some St. Louis schools and how it’s teaching elementary students more than just academic lessons. We’ll also give you some inside tips on how to catch judges’ attention at upcoming science fairs and introduce you to some interesting ways local teachers are getting their students jazzed about all areas of science.
