Something in the Water: A Saint Louis Rockumentary looks back at the unique set of circumstances that electrified the classic rock music scene in St. Louis in the late 60’s and early 70’s.

Presented by HEC-TV and KSHE-95, the event will begin at 6 pm with an invite only VIP reception. The Pageant will open to the public at 7 pm with the documentary screening starting at 7:30 pm. The evening will conclude with a rare jam session by Michael “Supe” Granda, Steve Scorfina and Danny Liston, who are interviewed in the documentary.

The HEC-TV documentary features rare interviews, archived Mississippi River Festival concert footage and photos from musicians themselves. Produced by Emmy award-winner Kathy Bratkowski and edited by Barry Bruns, Something in the Water is a funny, honest and unique account of “ground zero” for rock and roll, as told by those who played major roles in the emergence of classic rock in St. Louis.
