Auto Technicians Wanted

These are not your father’s auto mechanics. The auto industry finds itself in desperate need of automotive technicians. But these jobs don’t fit the stereotype of the “shade tree mechanic” of old. They require immense tech savvy, and quite a bit of training. They don’t require a four year college degree. Two years of technical school will get you what you need. And the payoff is an almost guaranteed job that could pay in the six figures if you make it to the top of your game. Yes, $100,000 per year jobs that not enough people want.

There’s a lot more to education than blackboards and textbooks. Behind the Minds takes you behind the school doors to highlight educational initiatives within St. Louis city and county K-12 schools. Watch for teachers, staff, administrators, and students who will blow your mind with innovative ideas and programs.
