39 North_Cultivating An Innovation Ecosystem, May 2017

This discussion is about 39 North, the 600-acre innovation district that is home to the Danforth Center, the Bio Research and Development Growth Park (BRDG), and other organizations that are helping to strengthen the St. Louis region’s innovation ecosystem. This new AgTech innovation district is going to build on the area’s leadership position in this field and to attract startups and AgTech companies from around the world.
AgTech is the overarching industry of agriculture technology and its intersection with plant science. This includes the research of plants and animals, development of technical machines and chemicals to improve farming, and improving production of foodstuffs.
