The Dark Room Explores a New Medium with Textile Art

In “Weaving as Ritual and Art,” the Dark Room adds Emily Oliver’s textiles to their usual repertoire of photography and performing arts. Oliver explores the repetitive and geometric nature of textile art with hanging pieces embodying both the perfection and imperfection of the process itself. The exhibit will run until September 3, 2017.
