“The Hats of Stephen Jones” Brings the Art of Modern Millinery to SLAM

The Saint Louis Art Museum honors the designs of Stephen Jones with an exhibit highlighting the relationship between great works of art and his famous creations. Jones rose to fame as a milliner in the 1970s and has designed pieces for fashion runways, celebrities, and royalty across the world. The museum is displaying eight hats interspersed throughout their various collections in dialogue with selected works. “The Hats of Stephen Jones” compliments the Degas exhibit with modern flare and will be on display through September 4, 2017.
