Blessing Basket, Missionaries, Urban Farming and Project Be Confident, November 2015
On this edition of Impact, we connect with a local missionary who is on a mission to recruit more African Americans. The Blessing Basket Project is connecting it’s artisans to those buying their baskets resulting in new found friends. Turning neglected city lots into vibrant vegetable gardens is the goal for two students turned full-time farmers. And using her own life experiences, a local woman is inspiring young girls to be all they can be.
Impact is living up to its name by highlighting people, companies, and organizations making the commitment to find innovative ways to improve the quality of life for others. These are the good news stories from our own community that will focus on those making a difference in someone's life, whether that's in their neighborhood, community or around the world. Tune in, it could have an impact on you!
