Behind the Scenes of New Dance Horizons VI

Dance St. Louis’ New Dance Horizons brings in world famous choreographers to work with local companies to make all new original performances. Now in it’s sixth year, Dance St. Louis has paired Robyn Mineko Williams with the Big Muddy Dance Company, Gregory Dolbashian with St. Louis Ballet, and James Gregg with MADCO.
The Big Muddy Dance Company and Dance St. Louis gives HEC-TV a glimpse at what it takes to put this type of performance together, as Williams works with area dancers to craft a daring new piece for New Dance Horizons VI.
New Dance Horizons VI has two performances at the Grandel Theatre on March 31, 2018. For more information please visit www.dancestlouis.org.

State of the Arts is St. Louis’ only program devoted to the region’s vibrant arts community, taking audiences behind the scenes to meet the artists, writers, and performers who call St. Louis home.
