State of the Arts at the Muny

The Muny is celebrating its 100th year in 2018 and State of the Arts is joining in the party! Paul Schankman hosts State of the Arts, the show about St. Louis’ creative scene, from the stage of our area’s favorite summertime theatre.

HECTV is in production on a fascinating behind-the-scenes look at the Muny featuring interviews with over thirty cast, crew and management. The Magic of the Muny will premiere just in time for parties celebrating the institution’s 100th year. There are many more announcements to come about that!

Also in this episode: A profile of our city’s first lady of jazz, Jeanne Trevor; a conversation with acclaimed artist Mary Engelbreit; and look for a cameo appeareance by rocker Bret Michaels!

State of the Arts is St. Louis’ only program devoted to the region’s vibrant arts community, taking audiences behind the scenes to meet the artists, writers, and performers who call St. Louis home.
