St. Louis Artworks teams up with the Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to provide beautiful works of art that also help reduce stormwater runoff. The Rain Barrel project also gives teenage apprentices the opportunity to learn new artistic and life skills and even make money. The rain barrels can help homeowners save money on their water bills and keep excess stormwater from getting into the sewer system or flooding their homes. This year’s theme revolved specifically around the environment. However, St. Louis Artworks does do custom orders.
